Watch: the four sections, explained step by step
A narrated demonstration of the four sections using fictional cases and actual app screens. The illustrated conversation uses real app patient-response audio with edited timing; doctor questions and narration are synthetic. Anamnese percentages are transcript-based AI practice guidance, not an official exam result. Tasks and limits vary by plan.

Watch the walkthrough above, then choose one skill to practise. The four sections follow the same order here and in the video: Anamnese → Aufklärung → Arzt–Arzt → Arztbrief. Each section below explains the task, shows the matching app screen, and suggests how to use the feedback.
1. Anamnese: ask, listen and follow up
Practise a patient conversation in German. Choose an available fictional patient, read the situation, and ask your first question. The patient responds during the exercise; listen to the answer before deciding what to ask next. Follow the microphone instructions shown in your browser and exercise.

Anamnese: the conversation exercise shown with a fictional patient. The sidebar is excluded so you can focus on the task.
The video includes two scripted doctor questions with actual patient-response audio from the app. This demonstrates the exchange; it is an edited example, not a real student's attempt.
After a conversation, use the available feedback to choose your next practice goal. In the illustrated six-question demo, the Anamnese ratings were 100% grammar, 70% fluency and structure, and 100% clarity. The comments flagged a repeated question. These are ratings of the transcript, not a measurement of vocal intonation or an official exam score.
Try this: ask about the main complaint, then ask a follow-up based on something the patient has just told you. Avoid repeating a question that has already been answered.
2. Aufklärung: explain a procedure to the patient
Choose a procedure and read your role, the fictional case and the instructions. Practise explaining the planned procedure in language a patient can understand. Organise the explanation and leave room for questions.

Aufklärung: read this task before recording your explanation. This screenshot previews the task; it does not show a completed assessment.
Full-test feedback separates Inhalt, Struktur and Grammatik: what you included, how you organised the explanation, and which language points need attention. Read the comments and repeat one part of your explanation with a specific improvement.
Try this: introduce the procedure in two clear sentences, then explain one relevant risk in patient-friendly language. Our Aufklärung practice guide gives you a starting structure.
3. Arzt–Arzt: present the case to a colleague
Select an available handover case, then read the patient information and your task. Decide which facts matter for the colleague who will receive the handover. Practise presenting the case in a clear order, including your assessment and proposed next steps where the task asks for them.

Arzt–Arzt: the actual handover task, with the sidebar hidden. The case is fictional.
The full test gives feedback on Struktur, Inhalt, Sprachliche Präzision and Kommunikationsstil. Use the comments to make the next presentation clearer and more focused.
Try this: give a short opening summary before adding details. If you need a framework, use our SBAR practice guide.
4. Arztbrief: listen, write and review
Open an available writing exercise and listen to the practice recording. Work through the information in a sensible order, write your own answer, and submit it for AI practice feedback. The video includes an audible excerpt from the actual exercise and sequential typing in the app.

Arztbrief: actual typing using a demo account and a fictional case. This is an example answer, not a model answer to memorise.
Review Struktur, Vollständigkeit, Fachterminologie, Grammatik and Präzision. Choose one useful correction from the specific comments and apply it in the next attempt.
Try this: practise one manageable section before writing the complete account. Our Arztbrief writing guide can help you plan the structure.
Build a practice routine you can repeat
Choose one section, complete one task, and carry one useful correction into your next attempt. Use the 30-minute routine or eight-week study plan to organise your week.
Practice tasks and exam simulations have different access rules and limits. Check the current plan overview before choosing access. AI feedback supports preparation; it does not replace your examination provider's requirements.
Turn the demonstration into one practice session
Use the existing film as a worked example, then make your own attempt. The conversation and writing clips show different activities; replaying them or switching narration language is not a new completed task.
| Section | Your next action | What to compare afterwards |
|---|---|---|
| Anamnese | Choose one of the follow-up question cards; say your question before revealing the patient reply. | Does your summary preserve the reply, uncertainty and any correction? |
| Aufklärung | Use the supplied procedure information and the explanation guide to practise a short patient-facing explanation. | Did you explain the supplied information clearly without inventing risks or reassurance? |
| Arzt–Arzt | Practise the two separate case openings in the SBAR exercise. | Did each name, symptom and duration stay with its own case? |
| Arztbrief | Write your own short account before opening the corrections in the source-fidelity writing exercise. | Did the duration, explicit denial and unknown details retain their original meaning? |
Keep your first attempt, choose one correction from the available comments, then repeat the same short task. Compare both attempts with the same source before judging the language. These checks organise study; they do not produce an official score or prove readiness to pass.
